How’s your New Year?

How’s your New Year?

What do you purpose for 2020?!

While 2019 was fruitful and birthed many things in me, in 2020 I purpose to grow what was birthed into greatness. To catapult my goals and move into the next level in life, business and relationships take a lot of commitment and diligence on my part, and the year is just getting started! Have you considered what’s next for you? If you haven’t, take a moment and ask yourself these quick questions:

  1. Considering where you are today, what do you want to be different a year from now? Take a look at every area of your life, career, and relationships to identify what you want to change. This requires investing a bit of time and energy to categorize what’s working well and what is worthy of change. Identify the change you will make and create a strategy using S.M.A.R.T goal setting.
  2. What is your strategy for creating the change? Achieving what you want won’t happen on a wish or whim. It takes preparing a clear and concise plan then taking action. Identify step 1. Step 2. Step 3 and so on for implementation.
  3. What resources do you want to support your change? Take a look around at what you have at your disposal. Consider your current skillset, new knowledge you want to gain, personal connections, colleagues, or technology – anything that will help you stay accountable and moving forward towards your goal.

Yes, it sounds a bit redundant but these are real questions you must explore in order to make a change. And guess what? We each have a responsibility to ensure our future is better and more fulfilling than ever! Because I dare it to be, meaning I will do what is necessary to push through obstacles and bring my dreams into reality. Less Talk – More Action.

Most of you know I became a self-published author in 2017! Woohoo – happy dance! Self-Approved; A Guide for Authentic and Purposeful Living was a labor of love for the woman who (like me) hid in the background of life not fully realizing how incredibly valuable you are. So in 2018, I had the pleasure of sharing the story and vision behind my book in an interview with Today’s Purpose Woman! I enjoyed sharing insight into the struggles women have when we don’t fully embrace our worth. Low self-esteem issues keep us from being truly happy, often sitting back waiting for life to happen. It doesn’t have to be this way.

Check out my interview on Today’s Purpose Woman website because the message shared is still as alive and relevant in 2020 as it was in 2018. Side note: If you want to write your own book, and leave a legacy of knowledge for the next generation, I can help you become a self-published author and take your story from Mind Map to Manuscript. Email support@necieblack.com for more details.

Enjoy the Interview!
